Job Summary

This role provides senior-level leadership and governance for a large Transportation and Logistics Managed Services program supporting Google. The Global Operations Head will oversee overall program performance, transition, risk management, operational stability, and continuous improvement. This is a strategic leadership role focused on guiding Operations Managers and ensuring strong delivery across multiple workstreams rather than managing day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide senior oversight and accountability for transportation and logistics service delivery.
Oversee transition, mobilization, staffing, training, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness.
Monitor KPIs, SLAs, risks, escalations, and overall program performance.
Coordinate Operations, Logistics, Training/Continuous Improvement, and Technology teams.
Drive continuous improvement, automation opportunities, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Must-Have Skills

12+ years of experience in operations, transportation, logistics, supply chain, or managed services.
5+ years of experience in Global Head, senior program, operations, or service delivery leadership.
Proven experience managing large-scale transportation, logistics, outsourced, or managed-service programs.
Strong experience with executive stakeholder management, KPIs, SLAs, governance, risk management, and performance improvement.

Industry Experience

Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, 3PL, warehousing, managed services, or large-scale operational programs is strongly preferred.
Experience managing multi-site or geographically distributed operations and leading transition/transformation initiatives is a plus.
